KOLTER a.s.

On February 9, 1999, The KOLTER a.s. was founded; that business firm covers 70 % of Slovak market of freshwater fish, especially live carp. The Company supplies TESCO chain year-round, METRO and AHOLD chains then in the Christmas time. Its line of business is running ponds, special fish-farming plants and other water areas for the production of fingerling, young, market and broodfish. The Company has its own capacities of live fish receptacles (a new distribution centre The storage ponds Boheľov), and it stocks young fish to selected dams in the Slovak Republic.
