The four production companies have 35-% share of the production of carp in the Czech Republic; since January 1, 2001, sale of that freshwater, live fish has been realized through The FISH MARKET a.s. subsidiary company, which is the only acknowledged distribution company that deals with the sale of live freshwater fish in the Czech Republic. About 75 % of the total production of fish is exported to a number of European countries - Germany, Slovakia, Yugoslavia, Austria, France, Italy, Hungary and Poland. The remaining 25 % of the production is placed on home market during the pre-Christmas period.
